Initially, I was going to do “Spring Into Small Business”, but I noticed I had a lot of pictures filed away of various local restaurants, and with all the COVID-19 panic going on right now, I thought “What better way to show my support for local eateries, than to feature a handful of them all month long”.

missing the daily grind

I love eating, I love food, and I especially love the experience of the restaurant. Being a restaurant manager, I understand that customers, over time, bond with certain servers and bartenders. Having regulars come in, request your section, and fill your afternoon with heartwarming stories adds so much gratification and fulfillment to your day.

ethnic cuisine from all over

The restaurants we’ll be looking at this month are in no consecutive order, actually, they will be posted in alphabetical order, so to show no preference. All are equally loved, and each present different menu options to suit your needs.

From newly opened restaurants, to longstanding landmarks, you’ll enjoy the tour. With the change of normalcy, we are all trying to adjust to, I’m hoping this will bring some relief and hope that soon it will be all over.

eat local!

Just like you, I can’t wait to dine-in at the local neighborhood diner, and meet with friends and family for dinner dates. However, I have loved watching our Siouxland community come together to support each other during this pandemic.

Restaurants have been hit hard from the very beginning. Having to close their doors, and adjust their daily routine to takeout and delivery, coffee shops and cafés all over the nation are forced into a new reality. To help with this added stress of the unknown, various groups on facebook have been started to guide patrons to find good food in their community.

See you soon!

Soon, we will be back to sitting at the comfy corner booth at the familiar mom-and-pop shop, and settling into the bar stool at the local brewery. So, in the meantime, enjoy the pictures of delicious food, and sexy drinks, and we’ll see each other soon enough!
