With over 700 restaurants in Sioux Falls, this has become one of my favorites. With local brews on tap, rare bourbons and tasty burgers, my friend and I find ourselves here often for a relaxing lunch. Plus, being located on 41st street, hence the name, Taphouse 41, it is easy to find and easily accessible.
First for the 41st
On one of my very first visits to Sioux Falls, my friend picked this place to meet up for lunch, and never having a black bean burger, I quite enjoyed their take on this healthy vegetarian option. It was beyond flavorful with the goat cheese and roasted garlic mayo, so much so, that I had to order one to go for my husband.
To pair with my burger, I ordered one of the smoothest blonde ales I’ve ever had, Big Sky Summer Honey. I’m usually a sour and stout girl, but I wanted to try something out of my norm, and I’m glad I did. In fact, they have a total of 24 beers on tap that rotate seasonally, so every time you’re there you’ll get a chance to try something new. Plus, they support several local breweries, so cheers to your beer tour this summer!
Surprisingly, they have even more bourbons in house, around 50 to be exact! And some are locally handmade, while others are so rare, they are incredibly hard to find, making this place the go-to destination for possibly a bourbon tasting. Or! Since Father’s Day is coming up, maybe get your deserving husband or awesome dad a gift card to his new favorite relaxing saloon.

In all, my friend and I have visited this restaurant at least three times in the last few months, which says a lot since there is obviously an abundance of competition in this South Dakotan town. In addition, and per usual, I enjoy the indoor lighting and artistic design showcasing what Taphouse 41 is famous for, beer and bourbon.
