Across from the Cherapa Place where we were at in our last post eating at Ode to Food and Drinks, is Falls Landing. Located within the Country Inn and Suites, on their second floor is this relaxing bar and grill. Serving as the hotel’s restaurant, patrons alike are invited to stop in and try their famous Philly or Cuban sandwich.

In fact, after we ate at Ode, we walked across the way and went up to Falls Landing to check out the views. Since we had such a light lunch at Ode, we decided to have another light meal here as well. I chose the chicken bacon ranch wrap with waffle fries, and Katie tried the chicken Caesar salad wrap.
Being not so upscale as Ode, Falls Landing has more of a bar and grill atmosphere, but their views are amazing from the connecting patio. I could definitely see myself perched at one of the patio tables for a few hours enjoying the long days of Summer. And with cold brews on tap and chilled Moscato, we could make an entire afternoon of lounging around.
And when you plan your visit check out the rotating beers on tap. Falls Landing is known for supporting local breweries, such as Fenson and Ben’s Brewery in Yankton. My husband and I plan to come up to Sioux Falls in the Spring, since I’ve already peaked his interest by telling him all about their bread made in-house (he loves baked goods!).
